Soup's On! Join us for the 6th Annual South Side Soup Contest presented by First National Bank

February 20, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm

On February 20, 2010 South Side chefs will face-off once again for bragging rights to South Side’s “Best Soup” at the 6th Annual South Side Soup Contest presented by First National Bank. From 12-3 p.m. participating shops will host delicious soups prepared by neighborhood restaurants and offer great deals in their stores. Soup hoppers donate at least $12 each (purchased in advance, $15 day of) and a canned good to receive an event map, ticket and ballot that will enable them to sample up to two dozen soups all afternoon. The People's Choice Award for “Best Soup” will be given at the end of the day by popular demand.

Proceeds of the South Side Soup Contest benefit The Brashear Association's Food Pantry. The South Side Soup Contest is presented by South Side Local Development Company, a non-profit community development corporation committed to the historic preservation and economic development of Pittsburgh’s South Side.
